TV/Cable Stations

Bravo! - a great cable channel, lots of performing arts.

Cartoonnetwork - This station has 2 of my favorite cartoons ever: Space Ghost Coast to Coast and Scooby Doo, though now I hate Scooby Doo because they ruined it by playing it ALL THE TIME, and the new ones suck major ass. Other faves they show: Dexter's Lab, Power Puff Girls, Batman, Animaniacs, Home Movies, The Brak Show and Dragon Ball Z. I swear this station is run buy a bunch of stoners.

Comedy Central - Home of South Park and endless SNL & Kids in the Hall reruns.

Sci Fi Channel - Geek-o-rama! Excellent channel, here you can see MST3K, Anime, Forever Knight, Dark Shadows, and I don't know what else because I don't have cable right now. On the web site: news, program scedule, buy stuff, and of course lots of info on shows.

WB - or WB11 (NYC) - They also show or have shown Angel, Star Trek, Charmed, Roswell, Seinfeld, Sabrina, Xena, Pinky & the Brain, Sailor Moon, Dragonball Z, and Batman animated.

Fox (5 in NYC) - home of The Simpsons, Futurama, X-Files, and That 70s show.

UPN (9 in NYC) - New home to Buffy the Vampire Slayer! Home of Star Trek Enterprise, Iron Chef USA, Sabrina the Teen Age Witch cartoon.

Odyssey Network cable channel has sadly morphed into the Hallmark Network - no more Fraggles or Muppet show, just more old reruns like nick at night, but there's hope, they have a new weeky series of The Neverending Story! It started around Oct 2001, and I think they may still show Alf..

Animation & Anime

About.com The Simpsons

The Big Cartoon DataBase - Pretty good listings, I found some rare lesser known old toons in it, but it sucks because you can only save 25 things in your favorites list if you register.

The Simpsons Archive - everything you could need to know about The Simpsons, episode guide, hidden references, etc. Maintained by members of alt.tv.simpsons

Chi-Chian - Check the Sci-Fi Channel's site for a web exclusive: Voltaire's 14 episode animated flash series of his comic book character Chi-Chian.

Animation of Heaven & Hell - Jan Svankmejer, The Brothers Quay, & more. The site hasn't been updated since 2000 but it has good history and backgrounds, and the animators discussed don't really do anything nowdays anyway.

StopMotionAnimation.com - news, photos, some info how to do stop motion animation, listing of tons of great stop motion films, great link page, and links to movies and clips you can view and download. This site is very clean and designed well also.

Yesterdayland - Saturday Morning Cartoons from the 50s, 60s, 70s, & 80s. This site is excellent, lists every single cartoon ever on the air weekday or weekend before 1990, including a synopsis, dates it aired, network aired on, and lists main characters. What happened to Saturday cartoons??? The site also has nastalgia, fads & trends from every decated of the 20th century.

Chris's Fraggle Rock Page - Complete episode guide, list of things from the show, videography, music to download, everything you could possibly need to know about Fraggles then and now! (this was my absolutely favorite show when it aired, I was about 11 then I think)

Official South Park Spirit of Christmas Site - download the original SP and the one that didn't make it, Frosty the Snowman (I think all the sites with Frosty are down, I'll have to add it to my Candy page after my DSL is set up).

Comedy Central's South Park page - games, etc.

About.com South Park

What Kenny says - I wish this page would freaking stop moving.. it's not really kept up to date anyway.

South Park News

MTV's Daria Homepage - I used to love this show, but after seeing it for the first time since the first season I'm very disappointed, it has really gone downhill.

Narnia.com - The former site I had for LW&W was sadly forced to be shut down by the C.S. Lewis corp. So I replace iit with the official Narnia site from Harper Collins. This site has maps, illustrations and info on the land of Narnia. This was my absolute favorite cartoon movie growing up. Me, my older brother and our 2 best friends, a brother and sister used to recite it by heart over and over and drive our parents up the wall. *innocent smile*

Beavis and Butt-head the Episode Guide

Animaniac's page - a lot of links to other sites about the show.

Ultimate Animanga Archive - You have to login (registration is fast and free) to view the pictures, the gallery is arranged by title and there are several indexes with a bunch of thumbnails, you can download each batch in one file on each index or get them one at a time. Most of the titles have a page with a short description of the series and some links.

A.D.V.Films (Anime Films) - news on upcoming Anime, catalog of Laser Discs, DVDs, etc, images & sound files, online zine with conventions, & interviews.

Hitoshi Doi's anime page - Info on a bunch of female and little girl anime shows.

The Vampire Hunter D Archives - picture, text, fan fiction archives, fan art, info on the upcoming new movie.

KiSS - Paper Dolls for Your Computer - freeware software for anime paper dolls. These are so adorable. There are adult ones, including Batgirl and Sailor Moon. The site also has virtual toys, desktop themes, games and an Anime guide. The dolls used to be free downloads but apparently now it costs a few bucks, you can search out some goth and free download sites, I have several 100 downloaded from way back (many goth, vamp, fetish, crossdressing) I could put on a cd for a few bucks for anyone interested.

Dexter's Laboratory - great site done by Paul. Mp3 sounds, most complete episode guide, pictures, info on toys, etc.

Christine Cavanaugh - she's done lots of great cartoon voices, including Dexter of Dexter's Laboratory.

Power Puff Girls - Cartoon Network's official site.

Power Puff Girls - Powerpuff.com has a very complete site about the kindergarden guardian angels of Townsville, episode guide, things to buy, FAQ, the free email sucks, don't even bother with it.

the PowerGoth Girls - aka gothic Powerpuff Girls.

"Freakazoid!" Cultural Reference Guide - Freakazoid! episode guides and a few good links.

The Non-stick Looney Tunes Home Page - a lot of links to Warner Brother's cartoons.

Aeon Flux

She is perfection, aside from getting killed in nearly every episode, she's been an obsession of mine since the day she aired on MTV's Liquid Television back in 1990 or 1991.. I forget.

Aeon Flux Webring homepage - links, mailing list, loads of Aeon Flux info and articles.

Aeon Flux: Monican Dominatrix - very well doen fan page, listing of all collectible Aeon related items, videos, cds, t-shirts, small gallery, includes a quicktime file of a deleted clip, and pictures of Aeon Halloween costumes, myself included.

The Ĉon Flux Episode Guide

The Faces of Aeon Flux - picture gallery

Eye Spy: Ears Only Confidential - by Drew Neumann - unofficial CD compilation Aeon Flux soundtrack, order it here.

Animation Art Gallery - There are a few animation cells of Aeon and Trevor for sale here.

Alexander - a newer creation of Peter Chung (creator of Aeon Flux). I think this was only shown at some film festivals, there are some video clips of it to download on the site.

Space Ghost Coast to Coast

Cartoon Netowork's Space Ghost Coast to Coast site - hosted by our favorite ghost & his formerly evil supervillian prisoners, movie reviews, bios on the Council of Doom, shocwave games, and in the home campinion section there's a complete up to date episode guide with guets, transcript, and credits for every episode. I think they all have video clips too. Damn, looks like they took everything down but the games & non-updated ep guide.

Ghost Planet Central - Transcripts of chats & episodes, cd linear notes, interviews, articles, reviews, and other goodies.

Space Ghost's Ghost Planet - Space ghost CTC, episode guide, pictures, faqs, bios, sounds

Brak's Scrapbook - pictures, Space Geek Code, sounds, and a complete episode guide for Cartoon Planet.

Meighan Desmond - She played the beautiful Discord on Hercules & Xena (she was my inspiration for choosing the name Discord) but doesn't seem to be doing anything else. This site is great, bio, filmography (including names of the episodes she was in), news, convention watch, gallery, sound clips.
